The Container Number Recognition System is able to automatically read and recognize the container ISO code characters. The read code characters can then be integrated into a database, with the container’s cargo manifests verified and information stored. This information can then be searched by query.
This system reduces the need for human operator to verify the container, with the ultimate goal of removing human operator from the crane to reduce safety risks.
